This painting was a bit sentimental. A personal tough and sad time with a loved one. And it was especially hard not going to see them due to Covid-19.
While painting this, it got me thinking about the people all around the world during this time that are worried for there families or have already lost someone dear to them. My heart goes out to them! And in a sense I made this painting for them too.
For them to know this is not the end! We can have peace that surpasses all understanding and it only comes if we put our faith and hope in the Lord.
